SPECIAL SESSION D
The session will examine how shifting global capital flows can be translated into long-term investment partnerships between Türkiye and Arab states based on mutual benefit and trust.
Global capital flows are being reshaped by geopolitical risks, the strengthening of trade blocs, energy security concerns, climate change, technological transformation, and the restructuring of supply chains. In investment decisions, financial returns are increasingly accompanied by considerations of trust, institutional predictability, strategic resilience, and the capacity to build long-term partnerships.
Relations between Türkiye and the member states of the League of Arab States hold significant potential for further development across trade, energy, finance, tourism, agriculture, technology, logistics, and infrastructure. The Türkiye–Arab World session held as part of PEF 2025 focused on direct engagement, the exchange of views, and the identification of potential areas of cooperation. The PEF 2026 roundtable is designed as a second stage, moving these exchanges toward concrete investment priorities, financing instruments, and actionable partnership models.
The discussion will focus not only on increasing trade and capital volumes, but also on how investment can generate employment, facilitate technology transfer, strengthen energy and food security, enhance social resilience, and contribute to shared prosperity.
The following issues are expected to be discussed:
